Mommy & Me & Daphne: An Art Workshop for Children

Author/illustrator Maxine Schreiber will present an exciting art happening using her recent children’s book, The Story of DAPHNE the Duck. Maxine will share interesting information about Muscovy ducks -- particularly the one that landed on her fifth floor balcony. Following discussion and reading, children can create their own duck or ducklings using easels and materials supplied. While 4-7 year olds may particularly appreciate Daphne and her ducklings, dads and older siblings are welcome to take part. Signed books and prints of the original watercolor illustrations will be available for sale following the program.

This is a free program presented by the Friends of the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach.
