We are pleased to host Author Bryan Mealer, who will discuss his latest book--Muck City--and the Glades area with Palm Beach Post sports writer Jeff Greer.
In Muck City, Mealer follows the 2010 Glades Central Raiders football team, providing an inside look at players and coaches as they make their way to the state championship game. But this book is about much more than football. Mealer explores the poverty and social challenges that so often face the residents of our county's Glades communities. He introduces us to ambitious young people who strive to build better lives.
