Background on Mr. Willson

David Willson has been an editorial cartoonist for the Palm Beach Daily News since 1992.    He has covered such stories as the Kennedy’s Au Bar fiasco, the 1994 Cuban raft invasion...the 2000 election and its butterfly ballot brouhaha, the Boca Anthrax attack, and Canine registered voters.  He has examined unique Palm Beach cultural, social, political and geographical phenomena such as bike path phobia, beach goer phobia, town-serving restaurants, Twilight Zoning, the War between the United Estates and the Condo-federacy, Presidential money junkets, hurricane alley.

Willson's cartoons  put the stories of the day in a broader cultural and historical context with a nod toward human foibles.  David's "views" of Palm Beach from both sides of the Intracostal will leave you wanting to know more about how an editorial cartoonist sees "The Island".
